When I first heard about Twitter, I didn't think I'd join for long. I thought it'd be silly and hard to use. Then I joined and checked it out.
I LOVE TWITTER.
You can send personal notes to family and friends. You can put links for people to see. You can share news with everyone. You find quite a few things in a single day that you can possibly use to better your life and your business.

Traffic For Your Links
Using traffic exchanges? I sure do. Easy, sometimes fun, even. Quite often there are contests, free credits, free ads, even free upgrades.
You have to be careful which exchanges you use. Some are just real time wasters. If you keep a notebook of your surfing and responses to your ads, it won't take long to figure out which ones to stick with.
My favorite: Traffic Swarm I made this my start page. Every time I open my browser, I can click a couple links. It was really quick to build up credits, and I get a lot of clicks on the sites I put on there.
